Monkeying around on the Internet: teaching reading micro-skills
The use of familiar concepts is a well-known way to bridge learners to new language skills. The author/instructor demonstrates ways that a famous monkey helped learners to build language skills; Workshop participants will work together to develop internet tasks for developing micro- and macro- reading skills.
