Nylia Monté is a Psychologist (Universidad del Salvador), an English Teacher (I.N.S.P.T., Universidad Tecnológica Nacional), has studied Applied Neuropedagogy (Universidad de Belgrano), has done Postgraduate courses in Neurosciences and Education (Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina and Universidad de San Andrés), and has studied Brain-Based Learning with renown professor E. Jensen in the USA. She has been working as an English teacher for more than three decades. She has delivered various training courses for teachers at Escuela de Maestros, Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. She is currently the Head of the Primary School English Department at Nueva Escuela Argentina 2000 and delivers teacher training programmes at ICANA. She was co-founder and Director of Studies in a language institute for 10 years. She is co-author of the resource book Games Galore! A Treasury of Useful Ideas for Teachers, published by IDL in 2018, and of Games Galore 2! A Treasury of Communicative Activities and Rock & Pop Songs for B1 & B2 Students, published by IDL in 2023. She constantly delivers workshops, webinars, and courses for teachers at schools and professional development conferences around the country and overseas.

Useful Strategies to Supersize Classroom Management
In this session, participants will explore key principles for building a strong classroom management system. The presenter will share practical classroom management strategies that can be used and adapted for all ages and linguistic abilities of students. During the session, participants will be involved in a virtual community of practice and will be encouraged to share their own ideas and strategies in the chat. This session will allow for new ideas, collaboration, and reflection in order to successfully begin the new school year.
Kevin L. Parker is an international educator and teacher trainer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in secondary education from East Tennessee State University, as well as a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Tusculum University. Most recently, Kevin served as an English Language Fellow, sponsored by the US Department of State, in Paraguay and Argentina. As a Fellow, Kevin was primarily involved in teacher training and facilitating culturalexchange among students and communities throughout Latin America. Prior to his fellowship, Kevin was a secondary Spanish and ESL instructor in East Tennessee. Kevin is a passionate global educator who strives to bring people together through language facilitation and cultural understanding.
