Argentina TESOL, como tantas otras organizaciones, depende en su funcionamiento del tiempo y de la experiencia que sus miembros ofrezcan a la institución. El servicio a ARTESOL desde la posición de miembro de la Comisión Directiva implica la aplicación de habilidades de liderazgo, así como del conocimiento y experiencia necesarios respecto del funcionamiento de la institución como filial de TESOL International Association.

De acuerdo con los estatutos vigentes, Argentina TESOL convoca a sus miembros para la renovación de cargos de Directores en la Comisión Directiva, por un período de dos años a partir de Octubre 2023.

Los cargos a cubrir son:

Directores:

a-Secretario

b-Tesorero

c-Vocales Titulares (5) y Vocales Suplentes (3)

d-Órgano Fiscalizador: Vocales Titulares (3) y Vocales Suplentes (2)

Además, se adjunta a esta convocatoria el Reglamento Interno de la comisión directiva de Argentina TESOL. El mismo constituye una guía de los deberes y atribuciones correspondientes a cada cargo y deberá ser firmado por cada uno de los miembros de la Comisión Directiva, una vez aceptado el cargo.

Atribuciones y deberes generales:

a- Los Directores a cubrir los cargos que se renuevan (Secretario, Tesorero, Vocales titulares y suplentes, y los integrantes del Órgano Fiscalizador), conjuntamente con la Comisión Ejecutiva actual (Presidente, Vicepresidente Primero y Vicepresidente Segundo), constituirán la Comisión Directiva, entendiendo que ARTESOL es una organización sin fines de lucro que depende exclusivamente del trabajo voluntario de los miembros de la Comisión Directiva y que ser miembro de la Comisión implica compromiso con la misma, y clara comprensión de sus necesidades.

b- La carga de trabajo estimada será de dos horas semanales, habiendo períodos de poca actividad y otros, generalmente previos a la convención anual, durante los que esta carga horaria se verá intensificada.

c- Los Directores deberán asistir a la Convención Anual. Tener en cuenta que estarán eximidos del pago de inscripción, pero que la asociación no cubre los gastos de traslado ni hospedaje.

d- Se comprometerán a participar de las Asambleas Anuales, y de al menos el 75% de las reuniones virtuales.

e- Deberán responder emails en un plazo no mayor de 72 horas.

REQUISITOS PARA POSTULARSE A CUBRIR CARGOS EN LA COMISION DIRECTIVA

– Haber sido socio de Argentina TESOL durante los últimos 2 años.

РHaberse desempe̱ado como profesor de Lengua Inglesa- Norteamericana en un establecimiento educacional en forma ininterrumpida.

– Poseer formación y experiencia en el área de TESOL.

– Comprometerse a servir por dos años en la Comisión Directiva.


CARACTERISTICAS ADICIONALES QUE FAVORECEN LA POSICIÓN DE LOS POSTULANTES

(El orden de presentación no indica valoración)

– Haber participado en la organización de Convenciones de ARTESOL

– Haber participado como expositor en Convenciones de ARTESOL

– Haber participado como autor / coautor de trabajos presentados en Convenciones de ARTESOL

– Haber integrado la comisión académica de Convenciones de ARTESOL

– Tener conocimiento de la estructura y funcionamiento de ARTESOL como filial de TESOL International Association.

– Haber formado parte de una comisión directiva de una institución educativa, organización comunitaria, organización de servicio, y/o organización empresarial.

Para postularse:

Enviar por escrito, en no más de 500 palabras, sintetizando/ elaborando lo siguiente:

– una breve referencia a su preparación académica en el área, descripción de su experiencia profesional en EFL/ESL, y de su experiencia como miembro de Argentina TESOL.

– el motivo que mueve al interesado a nominarse y el aporte que su incorporación pudiera brindar / hubiese brindado a la asociación y formas en las que contribuiría a fortalecer / incrementar ya sea que se nomine por primera vez o que vuelva a nominarse.

– la cantidad de horas semanales que se compromete a dedicar a la asociación, teniendo en cuenta que la carga horaria estimada generalmente se intensifica en las semanas previas a la convención anual y durante la misma.

-el detalle de las responsabilidades y obligaciones que entiende deberá y está dispuesto a cumplir.

Enviar esta “expresión de interés” vía email a argentinatesol@gmail.com hasta el 19 de septiembre de 2023. Se deberá incluir una foto color para su publicación.

Recordar que los postulantes elegidos deben estar dispuestos a participar de la Asamblea Ordinaria Anual  que se llevará a cabo entre el 24 y 31 de octubre de 2023. La fecha se debe consensuar entre la comisión directiva saliente y la nueva; durante la Asamblea se tratará la firma de actas y la documentación necesaria para la inscripción de las nuevas autoridades ante los organismos gubernamentales correspondientes.

Votación: 

Aquellos nominados que cumplan con los requisitos establecidos, y que manifiesten estar de acuerdo con el reglamento interno de la asociación, y con los deberes y atribuciones pertinentes al cargo al que se postulan, serán incorporados a la lista de candidatos a cubrir las vacantes, en la cual se incluirán las expresiones de interés y las fotos de los postulantes.

Dicha lista será publicada y actualizada en forma continua en la página web de ARTESOL hasta el día 21 de septiembre de 2023.

De acuerdo con lo establecido en el Estatuto de la asociación (art. XXXI), los miembros habilitados para votar podrán formular oposiciones hasta diez días antes de iniciarse el período de votación. Por lo tanto el período para presentar oposiciones será del 21 al 30 de septiembre de 2023.

El día 2 de octubre de 2023 la membresía recibirá un link vía email invitándola a votar electrónicamente entre el 2 y el 15 de octubre de 2023.

Los nombres de los nuevos integrantes de la comisión directiva serán informados vía email el 19 de octubre y sus nombres serán publicados en la página web de la asociación.
