Useful Strategies to Supersize Classroom Management
In this session, participants will explore key principles for building a strong classroom management system. The presenter will share practical classroom management strategies that can be used and adapted for all ages and linguistic abilities of students. During the session, participants will be involved in a virtual community of practice and will be encouraged to share their own ideas and strategies in the chat. This session will allow for new ideas, collaboration, and reflection in order to successfully begin the new school year.
Kevin L. Parker is an international educator and teacher trainer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in secondary education from East Tennessee State University, as well as a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Tusculum University. Most recently, Kevin served as an English Language Fellow, sponsored by the US Department of State, in Paraguay and Argentina. As a Fellow, Kevin was primarily involved in teacher training and facilitating culturalexchange among students and communities throughout Latin America. Prior to his fellowship, Kevin was a secondary Spanish and ESL instructor in East Tennessee. Kevin is a passionate global educator who strives to bring people together through language facilitation and cultural understanding.
