International Exams Meet Comprehensive Sexuality Education: Meaningful Approaches to Writing and Speaking Papers
International exam preparation at all levels can often feel demanding and repetitive, leading to student disengagement and, ultimately, lower performance. But what if preparing for an exam could be more than mastering language structures and completing past papers? This session explores how writing and speaking exam preparation can become meaningful learning experiences that engage students while developing the language skills and abilities required by international examinations. Through practical, adaptable strategies, participants will explore how to integrate a Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) perspective into exam preparation without moving away from the curriculum. The session will consider how English can become more than a subject to pass: a tool that equips students to communicate, think critically, challenge inequalities, and contribute to a fairer world.
