eal-world problems require skillful, 21st-century learners, especially with the advent of Generative AI (GenAI). This presentation explores ways to seamlessly integrate GenAI tools into the curriculum developed in the ELT class, focusing on core 21st-century skills such as curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. Attendees will be invited to reflect upon emerging ethical and practical issues and will acquire practical strategies and tools to create authentic learning opportunities that cater for the cognitive and non-cognitive needs of next-generation students.
Silvia Breiburd is a teacher and researcher with extensive experience in primary and secondary education and managerial roles. A prolific writer, international lecturer, and teacher trainer at INSPT Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and ISFDyT Pedro Poveda, Silvia advocates for generationally-friendly sustainable leadership, teacher empowerment through action research, and the adaptation of ELT to new, GenAI-mediated educational paradigms
