ARTESOL 2015 – XI Southern Cone TESOL Convention

Winds of Change in ELT

Universidad de Belgrano, Zabala 1837, Buenos Aires, Argentina

May 8-9, 2015

The annual ARTESOL convention offers ELT professionals from Argentina and other countries an opportunity for professional development. ELT educators exchange ideas and best practices, enhance their knowledge of ELT matters, keep up with current trends, expand their networks, engage in research and projects, and learn about other settings. Every other year, a Southern Cone TESOL affiliate hosts a regional conference. Southern Cone TESOL affiliates include Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. UruTESOL hosted the 10th Southern Cone Conference in April 2013. In May 2015, Argentina TESOL will be hosting the conference, and the regional TESOL affiliates will participate in the event. The XI Southern Cone Conference will gather professionals from diverse interests, and backgrounds. It will provide a space to examine the multiple challenges that countries in the region face while seeking opportunities for change in ELT.
