Since 2001, the Electronic Village Online (EVO) has functioned as a virtual extension of the Electronic Village (EV), a project of TESOL’s CALL Interest Section, providing free online professional development sessions for language teachers worldwide.
Every year, we are happy to receive new proposals and moderators for our sessions. So we would like to kindly ask you to share our Call for Proposals to your list and English educator contacts so that we can develop timely topics and welcome new moderators to our EVO family. Here is the link to the call for proposals: http://evosessions.pbworks.com/w/page/140256444/Call_for_proposals_2021 Proposals may be on any topic relevant to the teaching of English to speakers of other languages and they are due by September 13th, 2020.
A development session will be held for all moderators and co-moderators from October 18 –November 15, 2020. During this time moderating teams will create the online spaces for their session and finalize their syllabus with the assistance of the EVO Coordination Team who will support them in every step of the process. The actual five-week EVO sessions for this season will take place between January 9 and February 14, 2021.
Thanks in advance for your support in sharing our Call for Proposals to your e-list. Potential moderators will find instructions on how to create a page for their proposal at http://evosessions.pbworks.com/w/page/140419569/evo2021proposals.
